Seagate was one of the first hard drive companies to bring a USB 3.0 product to market at CES 2010, with the introduction of the BlackArmor PS110 USB 3.0 performance kit. Then it made Superspeed connection an option on the GoFlex family of drives introduced in May 2010. Now, continuing in it’s tradition of being “light-years ahead,” Seagate has gone one step further—truly going where no hard disk drive has gone before—with today’s introduction of the new 1.5TB GoFlex ultra-portable drive bundled with USB 3.0 connectivity, a free copy of “Star Trek” and the option to purchase up to 20 other films.
